I believe branding is fundamentally about connection—and that connection remains profoundly human, even as our tools evolve.
For over two decades, I’ve helped organizations discover and express who they truly are. I’ve built brands from scratch, guided established ones through change, and helped leaders find words for what makes their work matter. Through it all, I’ve practiced human-centered branding: strategy rooted in empathy, in story, and in the courage to be authentic.
Today, I’m exploring how this human-centered approach works in an AI-augmented world. Strategic branding in the age of AI requires both humanity and technology to have a role. AI can spot patterns we might miss and speed up our understanding. But the work of turning insight into meaning, of building trust through consistency and care, that stays deeply human.
I think of myself as someone who seeks the poetry within business, someone who seeks the soul within strategy. This means finding both the stories and the data that uncover the potential for emotional intelligence in branding. Because brands that last are built on understanding what moves people, what they value, and how to speak to those truths with clarity and heart.
Here, I write for anyone curious about branding. Whether you’re a founder finding your voice, a marketer seeking deeper understanding, or simply someone who wonders why certain brands resonate while others fade. If you’re navigating the intersection of brand strategy, new technology, and human connection, I’d welcome the conversation.
